Semi Automatic crimping machines are manually loaded machines for stripping, crimping and insertion.A crimped terminal is dipped in molten insulating wax that covers and seals the exposed end of the terminal, but not high enough to cover the crimp area. The waxed end of the terminal is embedded in lead shot, deep enough to cover the crimp area. Voltage is applied between the loose wire end and the lead shot.
